The insights section is a great place to get started on Appsee if you’re trying to understand where your users are struggling on your app. This will help you identify areas where you would like to take a deeper dive.

Tips:

  • Click play on any of the play buttons to view video sessions of users who took that path.
  • Click on the screen to view the full screen details on the screens section.

Quit Rate:
This tab helps you understand if users are quitting your app from the screen you would expect. For example, are they quitting from the ‘main’ screen or are they quitting from the ‘checkout’ screen? If they’re quitting from an unexpected screen, such as checkout, click on the play button to filter down to video sessions of users who quit from that screen and start to understand why they quit.

User Interactions:
This tab helps you identify the screens that your users interact with the most (taps, swipes, etc.)

Screen Popularity:
This tab helps you review the screens with the most and least views.

User Engagement:
This tab helps you identify screens with the longest and shortest visit duration. For example, if the ‘register’ screen is one of the screens with a long visit duration, that might help you understand that users struggle with that process.

Usability Problems:
This tab helps you discover screens with unresponsive gestures. That could mean one of two things: 1. Functionality- users might be tapping on a button that is not reactive. 2. Design- users might be tapping on an area that isn’t meant to be tappable. Either way, you learn a lot about what your users are expecting to be able to do on that screen.

Crashes:
This tab helps you review screens with the highest crash rate. If we see the ‘register’ screen or ‘checkout’ screen in this section, that is definitely something worth considering to prioritize.
