Diving Deeper Into Your Data

User Analytics presents your data on a user basis, rather than on a session basis. With this feature, you can run queries across both mobile platforms and users’ multiple devices. To build more precise queries and drill further down into your data, Appsee allows you to import and assign your own custom User Properties that represent attributes of your user base, enabling you to identify key users, discover common user profiles, and segment users into groups based on metrics important to your business.

How does Appsee define a User?

A user is determined by your internal user ID, which connects an individual user across platforms & devices. If no user ID is assigned, a user will be determined per installation. Once a user is assigned a User ID, all anonymous data is merged with the user’s ID.

What is the value of User Analytics?

In its simplest form, Appsee User Analytics allows you to run endlessly customizable, cross-platform user queries from out of the box. On a macro level, User Analytics allows you to build these advanced queries on your app’s users. On a micro level, this tool provides a complete picture of each individual user’s experience and journey with your app across mobile platforms and devices.

User Analytics will help you to answer all your burning questions such as:

“How often do my app users add an item to their shopping cart but never make a purchase?”

“How many users tried out my new feature, quit the app and never came back?”

“How many users visited the login screen in the last 30 days and experienced a crash?”

User History

With User Analytics, Appsee customers are able to view all sessions associated with a specific user. Teams can set an internal User ID for each user, or keep the User ID anonymous with only an Appsee generated User Index number. You can view any individual user’s app history and watch all of the associated session replays. An individual user’s window will also note the dates of their first and last sessions, device version history and installations, providing you and your team with a deeper and more holistic understanding of a user’s habits and behaviors.
